Profile
Trang Thanh Tran is a Lecturer in Economics at iCLA. She is completing her PhD in Economics at CERGE-EI in the Czech Republic, where she is expected to graduate in 2025. During her PhD, she taught Mathematics for pre-PhD students and Microeconomics for Master’s students. Alongside her doctoral studies, she has also been working as an external consultant at the World Bank for several projects in Vietnam.
Research
Trang Thanh Tran’s main research interests lie at the intersection of Development Economics and Labor Economics. Her work focuses on how public policies influence employment dynamics, informality, and migration in developing countries.
